Let's say we want to enter data such as Part1, Part2, Part3, Part4, Part5, up to several hundreds (e.g. Part200) with numeric number increment. You can think of entering the word 'Part' in the first column, and number 1 into second column, and later concatenate two columns together. This will not work because of differing data types in two columns.
This task may involve quite a lot of efforts.
The following will be what you want to enter:
Part1
Part2
Part3
Part4
.
.
.
Part200
There is really a neat way to accomplish this task, very easily. You will be amazed.
First, enter Part1 in the first cell, and Part2 in the second cell.
Please select those two cells by just pointing the first cell and drag the second. Both cells should be in the rectangular with a bold line.
Move the white thick cross cursor to the 'right bottom corner' where cursor changes into thin cross cursor.
With thin cross cursor being positioning exactly on the right bottom corner of two cells, please right-click the mouse.
Drag the cursor vertically along the line all the way down to where you want to be. You will see that the numeric number will automatically increase.
Your task will complete very easily.
